Internal ERP for Work Order Management
Our client is a large-scale commercial printing and production enterprise based in Canada, offering services such as direct mail, corporate printing, point-of-sale displays, packaging, and distribution. With increasing job volumes and with tighter delivery schedules, tracking work orders, production stages and material availability through spreadsheets and manual coordination became inefficient. To streamline the operations and create better visibility across departments, the client hired Technoyuga Soft for a centralized ERP platform designed to meet the exact specifications of their production processes.

Project Overview
The client approached us to replace fragmented spreadsheets and manual routing with a unified digital system that could manage work orders from creation to delivery. The production teams required real-time monitoring of job progress, and the management needed precise job scheduling and reporting as well as resource planning. We delivered a custom internal ERP which centralizes work orders, automates production tracking, coordinates inventory and delivers actionable insights- enabling the organization to run faster, smarter and at scale.
Project Objective
- Centralize all work orders in one system
- Digitize production tracking across departments
- Improve scheduling accuracy and resource utilization
- Enable real-time inventory visibility
- Reduce manual errors and communication gaps
- Provide management with actionable performance data
- Support operational scalability
Challenges
Manual & Fragmented Tracking
We faced a situation where jobs were managed across spreadsheets and disconnected tools, leading to duplicate work and limited visibility.
Communication Gaps Between Teams
The production, sales, and warehouse teams did not share the real-time job status, leading to delays and misfit.
Inefficient Scheduling
Without live production data would tend to create bottlenecks, idle resources, or would miss deadlines.
Limited Reporting Capabilities
Management had minimal insight into turnaround time, labor utilization, and capacity forecasting, making data-driven decisions difficult.
