Ora Dentistry is a dental care company based in the USA with a focus on advanced implant dentistry. The client wanted to improve patient experience and operational efficiency through the digitalization of appointment management, communication with patients, consent management, and education. They were determined to create a safe, HIPAA-compliant mobile and web platform that would make patient experience- consultation and post-treatment follow-ups- much easier, as well as help clinic administration to control operations with the help of a centralized administration system.

Project Overview
Ora Dentistry contacted Technoyuga Soft to provide an opportunity to create an inclusive digital platform that will unify patient interaction, appointment booking, consent, and delivery of educational material. The aim was to substitute the disjointed manual procedures with a secure and easy-to-use system that is available on mobile applications to patients and a web-based dashboard to the clinic personnel. The platform was meant to enhance patient trust, internal workflow, and one that is highly compliant with healthcare data regulations.

Challenges
HIPAA Data Security and Compliance
To address the content of sensitive medical data, it was necessary to have a high level of encryption and controlled access, as well as an audit trail and secure cloud storage that would comply with the requirements of HIPAA.
Fluid Patient-Clinic Interaction
The technical and compliance difficulties were in developing a real-time messaging system that would enable patients to communicate with clinic staff and keep it in control of the administration.
Accuracy of Scheduling of Appointment
Combining live bookings with availability and synchronizing with the existing practice management systems demanded quality API processing and real-time changes.
