If you remember the time before the great Covid-19, in good restaurants and bars, there used to come to a waiter and asked for your order; after you finished your meal he again came with a folder containing receipt of your order, you put the amount/card and the process ended. But at some places, you must have noticed a waiter coming with a tab asking for your order, at some places touchable screens were placed around your table, and you can toggle and place your order. This system was in use but at fancy outlets, because the cost of having 5-10 tablets or installing 20-30 screens was the total budget of running an outlet of many. So they went with the traditional way, but with Covid-19 creating havoc on mankind there rose awareness about health and hygiene, and restaurant owners searched for a budget-friendly process that could reduce the need for physical contact between a waiter and customer, as said by our father’s necessity is the mother of invention/innovation.

What is QR Based Digital Menu?
It is a newly innovated method or technology where your consumer does not need to install any application for viewing your menu or placing their order. They just scan a QR code pasted over tables or walls of your restaurants, from their smartphones and the menu opens up. Now they can toggle between the different options you provided them and place their order. The whole system is integrated with the database and orders can be viewed at the reception.
So, in short, you can replace a 10,000 tab or 15 thousand screens with a QR code paper that costs you just 2 rupees to place.
